Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 25, 2026
This page explains the cookies and local storage used on VisitSoccer websites, including visitsoccer.com and its city editions. We try to keep our use of cookies minimal.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser to remember information between visits. We also use local storage, a similar mechanism that stays in your browser until you clear it.
What we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working. You cannot disable them without breaking functionality.
- Session cookies for sign-in (set by Supabase).
- Theme preference (light/dark) stored in local storage.
- Language preference stored in local storage.
- Newsletter popup state stored in local storage so we do not show the popup more than once after you dismiss or subscribe.
Bot protection
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets short-lived cookies to verify that requests come from real users. These cookies are not used for tracking.
What we do not use
- No third-party advertising cookies.
- No cross-site behavioral tracking.
- No social-media trackers embedded in our pages.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Most browsers also let you block specific kinds of cookies. If you block strictly-necessary cookies, parts of the site (sign-in, theme persistence) may not work.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
